Kotaku’s Stephen Totilo reported yesterday on what could possibly be the rarest video game on the planet. Colin Northway, creator of Incredipede and Fantastic Contraption, had just recently created a game called “Shader” which can only be played on the very laptop he has created the game in, and only if you ever meet him in person.

Quoting Totilo, Colin has vowed to “glue the laptop’s hard-drive in place. He would destroy the laptop’s ports. He would disable its Internet connections. The game would live its life solely on the laptop. The only people to ever play it would be people who touched that laptop. The only people who would touch that laptop would be the people with the good fortune to cross paths with the ever-itinerant Northways”.
